Since I could remember, I’ve always “sensed” if an animal, or a person, was happy or sad, and this ability blossomed when I started to train and show my Arabian horses. I learned to share the thoughts of my horse, as if we were one while I rode, a oneness, I suppose, that other equestrians have also experienced.
I probably would have stayed sequestered in my New England farm, as a stay at home mother of three, if it wasn’t for an injury in 1999 that resulted in persistent pain, which opened the door to my spiritual awakening. In an effort to alleviate my discomfort, I began practicing yoga and meditating, which led to journeying with power animals through the use of crystals. I studied Reiki with an animal communicator, and began to understand that animals and humans can share consciousness. Classes through a Spiritualist Church introduced me to the concept of Spirit Guides and I developed the ability to “talk in tongues.” Even though I am now, thankfully, pain free, I am grateful for the catalyst of pain which nudged me towards understanding the world in an entirely different way.
I started actively pursuing psychic phenomenon in 2003 and felt compelled to record my journey. By 2007 I had published the first of four books (for more information see “books” page), started my business, Jasmine Plane, LLC, and began doing Animal Communication readings professionally. My children grew up, and for the next ten years or so I was teaching yoga, water yoga and water exercise classes. I retired from working through the pool in 2017 and in 2020 retired as a yoga instructor. I’ve been a Reiki practitioner and instructor since 2006 and my healing practice grew into various modalities; Crystal Healing, Sound Healing, Shamanic practices and Past Life Regression sessions. I’ve taught a weekly class on psychic phenomenon for over ten years…
…And then the Covid-19 Pandemic began.
This respite from my daily routine during the quarantine of 2020 allowed me to pause and review what I could offer the public and what I personally felt compelled to offer. After careful consideration I retired as a professional healer and am no longer offering hands on healing sessions nor am I teaching in person classes. After fifteen years of traveling out to barns and homes I have decided to no longer travel either. I'm quite content chatting over the telephone since speaking virtually is just as effective as when I'm in the presence of your fur-baby. As a sixty plus year old “empty nester” I share my little farm with my husband, Greg, and our assorted fur or feathered babies; 2 Icelandic mares, 4 hens, 2 peacocks, 2 shelties, 2 Siamese cats and one goat. I spend most of my days trail riding or riding in my arena, writing, reading or learning about shamanic practices, watching my grandchildren or simply watching television with my husband.
I enjoy sharing my ability to understand the thoughts of animals with others. I believe everyone is in control of their mind, body and ultimately their destiny, and that people, and animals are all interconnected through this wonderful reality called Earth.
My personal philosophy is varied... here are some of my credentials;
